Technical progress has been again delayed because of a need for architectural progress.
Degus get bored easily, as I mentioned before. The newest expansion includes a wheel, a shelf, a second story, etc.
A welded steel frame holds wire mesh sides. A thick Plexiglas front and door keep the Degus from disappearing.
Apple demonstrates the usefulness of their combination wheel and chew toy.
